The client and its context: a distance learning organization
Formadistance (formadistance.fr) is a distance learning organization offering courses eligible for CPF funding. Its website presents its entire range of courses to prospective trainees.
This website had never been maintained since it went online. It had become technically obsolete and no longer met current web requirements.
The need: to modernize an outdated website without disrupting the existing system.
- Upgrade the entire technical environment;
- modernize the site without losing the mesh nor the permalinks existing;
- present clearly the training offers in an online catalogue;
- to provide the organization with a visual identity, with a logo.
What we have achieved
We have achieved a WordPress redesign using Divi, The responsive design was implemented after updating the entire development environment to PHP 8+. Internal linking and permalinks were preserved to avoid negatively impacting existing SEO.
The training courses are presented in an online catalog, as individual fact sheets accessible via drop-down lists. A contact form and custom development options complete the website. Logo creation was included in the service.
